As a former professional athlete, Tölgyesy understood the challenges of staying hydrated during physical activities. Traditional portable liquid containers such as Camelbaks, flasks, and fuel belts can be heavy, cause imbalance, and restrict movement. Listorm was born out of the need for a tool that allows athletes to carry and drink liquids without disturbing their rhythm or balance.
Listorm is a lightweight bracelet that can store up to 2.4 deciliters of fluid. It is easy to use and refill, and is made from recycled materials, making it an eco-friendly choice. The liquid container silicon pipe can be used more than 10,000 times, and the one-way shut-off valve ensures that the pressure inside Listorm remains the same until the last drop of liquid. It also glows in the dark, adding a safety feature for athletes training in low light conditions.
The design process for Listorm was meticulous and detailed. Tölgyesy and his team sought to create a product that was not only functional and eco-friendly, but also comfortable and stylish. They tested various materials for the pipe and strap, and even designed, 3D printed, and built a special one-way shut-off valve. The result is a unique sports accessory that enhances performance and promotes health.
Research played a crucial role in the development of Listorm. Tölgyesy conducted comprehensive market research and consulted with professional athletes to ensure that Listorm would meet the needs of its target users. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with athletes appreciating the convenience and functionality of the bracelet.
Listorm is not just a practical tool for athletes, but also a potential marketing tool for soft and sports drinks manufacturers. It offers a new way of beverage storing, and its unique design and functionality make it a standout product in the market.
The Listorm Liquid Storage Armband is a testament to the power of innovative design in improving lifestyle and performance. It was awarded the Silver A' Sporting Goods, Fitness and Recreation Equipment Design Award in 2017, a testament to its remarkable design and innovation. With Listorm, athletes can now stay hydrated without compromising their performance or comfort.
